So. Very. Tired...

*facedesk*

...Oh, hello!

Um, apologies for the absence (again). I've moved to a different clinic to work at since mid-January and they've been keeping me busy, eh-heh.

Yes, I still go to school. (OhGodI'mgonnabehereforever~)

At least it's Spring Break next week! :D

. . .

Uhhhn, still have work tomorrow. Must. Sleep. Now.

A Vampire by Day...

My manager once told me something along the lines of "the more you draw, the better you'll get at it."

...Drawing blood, of course. :P

Haven't drawn blood in over 2 months, so I was sent to a different clinic to find human pincushions get the hang of it again.

It's been about a year since I first learned how, but now I've drawn over 100 different patients. (And failed sticking so many more... Hey, I'm still learning!) XD

And Then, and Then, and Then...!

(Guh, plugging in random posts... This is really becoming a bad habit of mine... -.-)

Spent the last week hanging out with the family, and I'm EXHAUSTED.

Went to Soak City... Gosh, it's been a ling time since we've gone swimming. Whole. Body. Aching. Ugh. X_x

. . .

Oh yeah, I was supposed to post about Thieves in kDnF's Test Server... O_o

U-um, uhh! Well, Necromancers seem to need a lot of micro-managing... (Always wondering where Nicholas was at, duoing with Bellacre...)

The challenge is nice, but I'm really liking the Shadow Dancer's abilities so far, heh.

. . .

Oh mans, DFO's Closed Beta's gonna start soon...

Wait, it's almost the end of July already?! O3o;

We Love Our GameStop

June 30, 2009 at 09:50 PM - Games, Real Life

* At Our Local GameStop... *

Cashier: You're here for something. Lemme guess... BlazBlue?
Me: Er, yeah. You got the Limited Edition for the PS3?
Cashier: Yep! *gets the box and scans it* This is our last one until the regular version ships next month.

* Later... *

Me: Wow, guys, we got their last BlazBlue in stock.
Me: *blinkblink* ...Wait, didn't the same scenario happen with Persona 4? That we got their last copy?
Chris (younger brother): Yeah. I checked the website right after we bought ours... It's backordered.
Joshua (youngest brother): Y'know, the same thing also happened with Fallout 3 and Left 4 Dead...
Me: Wait, wut? Really? Wow, we're incredibly lucky then.
Joshua: Indeed.
Me: Well, you guys go play. I'ma go check the soundtrack.

(And no, we have never pre-ordered a game. Ever.)

(BTW, The OST is awesome. :D)

Spring Semester Is Ovahhh!

May 15, 2009 at 05:44 PM - Real Life

And I am totally burned out by school and work. *flops to floor*

Whew! I don't think that I'm gonna take summer classes this year, haha. Most likely gonna sign up for two classes for Fall... Hm... Online classes? Maybe...

But, for now, I need sleep.

Takin' Ur Bloodz, Performin' Tests

April 19, 2009 at 09:29 PM - Real Life

This week is National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week!

And we got gifts from our company! Last year we got t-shirts; this year is tote bags, cups, and buttons. XD

Anyway, this week is to celebrate the lab personnel who deal with your bodily fluids (and excrement... *shudder*) everyday. Sure, it sounds disgusting, but we're the first to see your results. If something really bad comes up, we immediately tell the doctor (who informs the nurses to call you for a follow-up appointment).

Also, I recommend looking around Quest Diagnostics' Test Menu if you're curious as to why your doctor orders certain tests. "What's that test for?" actually comes up pretty often when we draw patients, eh-heh. ^ ^; (Any tests that we don't do in our lil' lab is sent out to Quest. Another lab we also send out to is LabCorp, which is done if your insurance doesn't cover for Quest.)

...

Gosh, last week went by so fast...
