DFO CBT: Day Two
July 29, 2009 at 10:08 PM - Dungeon Fighter Online
I FAIL. D:
Spent all of my Life Tokens Revival Coins trying to beat Tau King What's-his-face, uuuggghhh... ><
Submitted several bugs today though. Most are typos; seems that they translated all the text straight from Arad Senki. (Joshua even encountered the CAPTCHA-every-five-seconds thing. And apparently all of the game's tooltips are exactly 180px long. Still annoyed by the random broken words though.)
*sigh* I won't be able to play tomorrow; got work all day. >_o
(If you're wondering why I have so many strike-throughs: I don't like some of Nexon's translations. I'm just too used to what we call NPCs/items/skills over at kDnF. :O)
DFO CBT: Day One
July 28, 2009 at 09:59 PM - Dungeon Fighter Online
*loads up DFO*
*stare at Character Creation screen*
Dammit, what should I name my Slayer Ghost Knight?! (I hate making up names... -.-)
*reads comic-esque intro for the Slayer Ghost Knight*
Nice to see it translated for once...
*TUTORIAL STUFFS, NO WAI!*
Ugh, these random line brakes are starting to bug me... (It occurs pretty much everywhere.) Not to mention that the Slayer Ghost Knight sounds like an old man wearing a gas mask... T_T
*proceeds to quest/dungeon crawl/find bugs/read General chat until server goes down*
...Dangit, I only made it to level 9 with about 3/4ths of my fatigue gauge stress bar left. (Here's a horrible screenshot to prove it! I needs Back Step-Cancel, ahhh~!) D:
At least I have enough pieces of red cubes for the Berserker class change tomorrow, lawls!
(Also, I'm trying to avoid the headache that is the current state of Nexon's DFO forums. -.-)
And Then, and Then, and Then...!
July 26, 2009 at 07:25 PM - Dungeon and Fighter, Real Life
(Guh, plugging in random posts... This is really becoming a bad habit of mine... -.-)
Spent the last week hanging out with the family, and I'm EXHAUSTED.
Went to Soak City... Gosh, it's been a ling time since we've gone swimming. Whole. Body. Aching. Ugh. X_x
. . .
Oh yeah, I was supposed to post about Thieves in kDnF's Test Server... O_o
U-um, uhh! Well, Necromancers seem to need a lot of micro-managing... (Always wondering where Nicholas was at, duoing with Bellacre...)
The challenge is nice, but I'm really liking the Shadow Dancer's abilities so far, heh.
. . .
Oh mans, DFO's Closed Beta's gonna start soon...
Wait, it's almost the end of July already?! O3o;
DnF Test Server, Part 1
July 20, 2009 at 11:18 PM - Dungeon and Fighter
Yes! Apparently, kDnF has a test server up! And Joshua stumbled upon it out of boredom, durr hurr...
It's a great place to test out builds since you can level the characters to 60 by buying tomes... I'm pretty surprised that the builds I chose for my Berserker and Spitfire are working out very well. (That means I don't have to stick with a messed-up build, make a new character, or use NX cash to reset skills on the real server, eh-heh.) ^ ^
Still need to test out my Battle Mage, Soul Bender Bringer, and maybe Witch Scholar...
Also! There's a new dungeon up called "Canyon of the Deceased" that requires money to get in... 15 rounds to beat a crapton of mobs with mini-bosses every 5 rounds. Mobs defeated give "BP" and can be used to fully heal you, increase Strength, Intellect, or Speed, or reduce cooldown times. (Really fun to spend all your points on 1 bonus, haha.)
Anyways, screenshots! (Click 'em to full view!)
Part 2 will cover the new Thief class! (if I can get on the test server... It's almost always full, fffuuuarrgh~!)
DFO Closed Beta: I'm In!
July 15, 2009 at 03:39 PM - Dungeon Fighter Online
My God, there's like 200-something people reading/raging on Nexon's forums right now. :O
Well, I gotta add new sections to m' blog now. DFO's, like, my new MMO now. (My WoW account expired two months ago.) XD
EDIT: My brothers also got in, haha! What luck, considering that it seems that they chose random applicants...
And I'll be posting on their forums once in a while. It's too early to post builds and such, so I'm just giving out lil' tips here and there. ;P
BlazBlue: Dammit, There's A Frickin' Wall Here...
July 12, 2009 at 07:25 PM - Games
Oh wait, that's Tager. FFF~
Score Attack mode aside, if you see a "Nootkin" online, that's us. :D
Chris: Arakune as main, Hakumen as sub. (An "Ara-mens"!)
Joshua: Taokaka. And maybe Noel. ("Tao...el!" Towel, ahahaha! XD)
Err, I haven't played online yet, but I'm mostly using Ragna. :P
